Stress and Management of Stress has become a constantly growing phenomenon not only in the business world, but in all level of human endeavors. It is not in the large corporate sector that stress, tension and anxiety are prevalent, but common among household and student community. Although reasons for stress and tension are various, the solution is simple for majority of stress conditions. It has been a proven fact that the practice of meditation has substantial positive impact in the individual in releasing stress, tension and anxiety. Without resorting to complex and complicated diagnostic test and other sophisticated programs, one can practice meditation anytime.

There is no doubt that meditation is becoming a serious topic of interest in the management field. Managers are concerned with the mental health of their employees as it has direct impact on their performance in the work environment.

About 10 to 15 minutes practice of mediation can significantly reduce stress and tension. Rather than resorting to the habits such as smoking and drinking, meditation works as a panacea. Recent research demonstrates the direct effect of meditation in workplace.

Requirement for the commencement of meditation practice is a chill out room, a quite environment. Prior to the practice of meditation, one needs to understand what meditation is all about along with the process involved.

Corporate Meditation Program

Identification

Stress level in a work environment varies among individuals and work environments. Meditation programs are designed and tailored according to the industry requirement. As stress and tension can be caused by various factors, identification of those factors is required to select some of the effective techniques.

Duration

Weekly two days with 120 minutes session each for about three weeks is the minimum requirement. Within this time, participants can learn the techniques and can practice them regularly at workplace and at home. It only requires less than half an hour practice; it is not the duration of practice, but the intensity of practice which is of prime importance.

NB: Institute of philosophy is committed to support the participants up to three weeks free of charge.

Number of Participants

The number of participants in one session can be 8. Recommended number of sessions is 6.
